Heather Woolery-Lloyd, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and is also board-certified in lifestyle medicine. She is the founder of DermFriends, an innovative platform and newsletter focused on skincare education. Dedicated to a holistic, evidence-based approach to skin health, she serves as a trusted advisor for leading skincare and wellness brands and is a sought-after voice in global beauty media.

With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Woolery-Lloyd has earned recognition as a leading speaker at national and international medical conferences. She has authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers and has been featured in publications, including The New York Times, Vogue, Allure, and Forbes.

Dr. Woolery-Lloyd is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) where she was honored with the AAD's Presidential Citation for her commitment to education and research in dermatology. 

Dr. Woolery-Lloyd practices dermatology in both private and academic settings.  She currently serves as Director of the Skin of Color Division for the University of Miami Department of Dermatology. She also is an active member of the Skin of Color Society and the American Academy of Dermatology.
